Description:
Aquent is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Business Operations Specialist for a US-based remote position, primarily in the PST time zone. This engagement starts as a 6-month contract with potential extension up to 18 months. You will collaborate with a leading global technology company, contributing to strategic decision-making and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the update and refresh of monthly reports, scorecards, and presentations while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct in-depth variance-to-forecast analyses, identifying key business drivers and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial and operational models on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Deliver timely ad-hoc analyses, providing critical insights for team initiatives.
  • Prepare and present a weekly business outlook, leveraging trends and forecasts to support strategic discussions.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, presenting analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Engage in critical review sessions with sponsors, contributing insights and supporting strategic alignment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or FP&A.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data modeling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze business trends.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis complementing finance or business operations work.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
