Description:
Aquent is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Business Operations Specialist for a US-based remote position, primarily in the PST time zone. This engagement starts as a 6-month contract with potential extension up to 18 months. You will collaborate with a leading global technology company, contributing to strategic decision-making and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the update and refresh of monthly reports, scorecards, and presentations while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct in-depth variance-to-forecast analyses, identifying key business drivers and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial and operational models on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Deliver timely ad-hoc analyses, providing critical insights for team initiatives.
- Prepare and present a weekly business outlook, leveraging trends and forecasts to support strategic discussions.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, presenting analytical findings and recommendations.
- Engage in critical review sessions with sponsors, contributing insights and supporting strategic alignment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or FP&A.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and data modeling experience.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze business trends.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in data analysis complementing finance or business operations work.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
