About The Role
The Business Operations Manager will drive key organizational outcomes by tackling complex operational challenges. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders, you will enhance team productivity, streamline workflows, and implement process optimizations. The role reports to the CFO and includes base salary, equity, and benefits, with compensation influenced by skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to boost team productivity and process efficiency.
- Align operations with company goals and partner with leadership to ensure long-term growth.
- Act as a strategic advisor to functional leads, identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance operational performance.
- Focus initially on improving the implementation process: assess current state, define ideal state, implement solutions, and transition ownership to the team.
- Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks, create KPIs, and track performance metrics.
- Establish reporting frameworks to maintain process health post-implementation.
- Resource Planning:
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure operational processes remain within budget.
- Special Projects:
- Launch new workflows, teams, and ad hoc projects based on business needs.
- Serve as a first responder for operational challenges requiring urgent stabilization or scale.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to create clarity and alignment where ownership is unclear.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 4+ years’ experience in business operations, consulting, or business management, preferably in healthcare or tech-enabled services with complex implementation and service delivery.
- Proven track record of managing operational teams and executing complex process improvements.
- Expertise in process optimization, automation, and project management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Experience in budget management, resource planning, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of credentialing, payer enrollment, and medical licensing processes is a plus.
