We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager
Are you motivated to build a business from scratch and deliver measurable results in the construction and heavy equipment rental sector? Guildhall is recruiting on behalf of a leading machinery rental company in Dubai for a hands-on Business Development Manager. This role is ideal for someone with strong local market knowledge, excellent industry relationships, and a proven ability to win and close new business.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience working in the UAE market, ideally within construction, plant/equipment rental, or a closely related field.
- An established network of industry contacts who can be leveraged to generate leads and partnerships.
- A demonstrable track record of sourcing opportunities, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with commercial awareness and persistence.
Responsibilities (typical):
- Hunt for new business opportunities and develop leads through market outreach, referrals, and industry connections.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal and contract closure.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, site managers, and fleet planners.
- Provide market feedback to the leadership team and help shape commercial strategy.
- Work autonomously to meet agreed business targets and KPIs.
