Description:
Sutherland is seeking a digitally savvy and data-driven Business Development Executive to join our team and help expand the company’s presence in digital transformation services, AI, automation, and analytics solutions. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and advancing new business opportunities while engaging with C-suite stakeholders and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Source and qualify leads via inbound, outbound, events, and prospecting efforts
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a full-funnel sales pipeline, ensuring consistent opportunity progression from prospecting to closure
  • Consultative Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and position Sutherland’s AI-enabled, digital-first solutions effectively
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Use operational, customer, and market data to create compelling business-impact narratives
  • Client Engagement: Initiate and support executive-level discussions, including with CxOs, to influence digital transformation agendas
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical, and delivery teams to align go-to-market strategies and solutions
  • Operational Excellence: Track and optimize KPIs such as sales cycle length, conversion rates, and proposal-to-win ratios

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in B2B sales, technology consulting, inside sales, or digital transformation
  • Familiarity with BPO, IT services, or enterprise solutions preferred
  • Strong digital and technology acumen including AI, automation, cloud, SaaS, and digital CX platforms
  • Data-driven decision-making and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
