Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads within assigned target customers, leveraging networking and existing relationships.
- Develop sales strategies for deploying FedEx services across industry verticals.
- Collaborate with teammates across functions to document account strategies.
- Lead account qualification, including identifying target opportunities and managing the qualification process.
- Participate in solution development, proposals, pricing models, and sales presentations.
- Manage proposals and presentations to secure account closure.
- Maintain accurate data and provide weekly reporting on all accounts and stages for new business development.
- Directly lead sales efforts, including evaluating account interest, presenting services, and preparing proposals.
- Continuously energize the sales process to move potential customers through the sales cycle professionally.
Requirements / Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain, 3PL sales, or e-commerce fulfillment solutions.
- Proven success selling solutions across industry verticals to diverse customer sizes and complexities.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, operations, customer service, and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal, strategic planning, and sales management skills.
- Initiative, innovation, strong work standards, and customer service focus.
- Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills; ability to overcome objections and guide customers to valuable solutions.
- Team player mindset.
Physical / Cognitive Requirements:
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret information; perform basic math operations.
- Manual dexterity and ability to perform warehouse physical tasks.
- Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds; sit, walk, and stand for duration of shifts.
- Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions.
