We’re Hiring: Business Analyst – Financial Operations

Oracle is seeking a skilled Business Analyst for Financial Operations to support financial and operational business objectives while enhancing Oracle business processes. This role focuses on improving financial analysis, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver results on project financial management, including planning, control, project hours management, forecasting, EACs, milestone management, invoicing, and billing.
  • Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for financial plans, operating forecasts, and future specifications on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
  • Provide recommendations based on analysis, including revenue and expense evaluation, headcount-driven expense tracking, product revenue analysis, accounts receivable reconciliation, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Participate in cross-functional programs and projects.
  • Serve as a liaison with Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Collect, input, verify, and analyze data to measure KPIs versus business objectives and update management on budget-to-actual deviations, economic impacts, and compliance issues.
  • Maintain project transaction controls and support day-to-day financial operations.
  • Monitor credit holds, write-offs (WAR), and manage non-billable tasks.
  • Support PMs in the EAC process, milestone management, and revenue tracking.

Requirements:

  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in data modeling and spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience working with multicultural and remote teams.
  • Ability to travel as required for business needs.
