Description:
We’re hiring a Broker Coordinator to manage individual and group medical business. This role sits at the intersection of brokers, underwriting and operations and is ideal for a candidate with hands-on UAE medical insurance experience who can coordinate efficiently and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle broker quotation requests for both individual and group medical plans, ensuring quotes are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams to facilitate timely policy issuance and resolve blockers quickly.
- Support brokers with product information and documentation, clarifying processes and requirements to reduce follow-ups.
- Manage policy endorsements, renewals and servicing tasks, ensuring records are updated and actions completed within SLA.
- Assist with onboarding of new medical business, verifying that all required documents are collected and submitted.
- Work closely with Client Services to ensure brokers and clients receive consistent, high-quality support.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of broker activity and policy movements for tracking and analysis.
- Collect and feed back broker insights on product gaps and market needs to help shape product improvements.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in medical insurance (individual & group) with an insurer or brokerage operating in the UAE.
- Strong technical understanding of medical insurance products and prevailing market practices.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for frequent broker-facing interaction.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and good at follow-up, able to manage multiple requests concurrently.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with insurance/CRM systems is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; professional insurance qualifications are desirable.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant medical insurance experience.
