Description:
Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator to support daily operations across multiple branch locations while working remotely. This position plays an important role in supporting healthcare delivery by assisting patients, referral partners, and branch teams with documentation, scheduling, insurance requirements, and customer service needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in an office, healthcare, or customer service environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to providing compassionate support to patients and healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily operational activities for multiple branch offices serving high-acuity respiratory and pediatric patient populations.
• Work with sales teams, referral partners, and patients to collect missing documentation and information required for insurance guidelines.
• Answer customer calls, provide introductory information, resolve common product or service concerns, and escalate issues when needed.
• Process branch-related tasks including intake creation, data entry, document review, and system updates.
• Verify insurance information, obtain equipment authorizations, and complete required processing activities.
• Confirm delivery appointments and support patient scheduling for equipment delivery and pickup.
• Perform outbound calls, send faxes, and use SMS communication with patients and referral sources.
• Complete post-delivery documentation, work order confirmations, and data entry tasks.
• Assist with document retrieval, audits, billing support, and record management.
• Collect billing or credit card information when required.
• Provide equipment-related paperwork assistance and explain insurance information and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Conduct customer satisfaction calls and complete additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of related office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively through phone systems and electronic communication tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and basic printing, faxing, and scanning tasks.
• Strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
