Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in the west metro. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial management who thrives in a collaborative environment. The position involves handling financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting administrative tasks to maintain the organization’s financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process foreign currency transactions and payments efficiently.
  • Coordinate with local and international vendors to maintain smooth financial workflows.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports using QuickBooks to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel and SharePoint, to streamline accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to gather and verify financial data.
  • Review and update accounting policies, suggesting improvements to optimize processes.
  • Oversee payroll functions and maintain communication with benefit providers to ensure accurate records.
  • Provide general administrative support related to financial operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliation with precision.
  • Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, for financial documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, team members, and management.
