Experior Financial Group Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and contribute significantly to the daily accounting operations of our organization. This is a hands-on role, well-suited for a proactive professional with a solid background in full-cycle accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of key functions, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, commission processing, financial reporting, and audit preparation and support.

Responsibilities:
- Process all Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and agent commissions.
- Record daily carrier deposits to ensure accurate tracking of all incoming funds.
- Liaise with third-party auditors and prepare relevant schedules for financial review and audits.
- Monitor and reconcile daily bank transactions to ensure accurate cash flow tracking.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare detailed financial reports to support internal decision making and corporate reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and necessary adjustments, ensuring accurate reflection in financial statements.
- Ensure that all monthly transactions are accurately processed and reflected in the trial balance.
- Assist in maintaining confidential employee files, supporting HR functions as required.
- Generate and maintain weekly timesheets to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours.
- Process bi-weekly commission payments for employees and agents as per established guidelines.
- Assist in preparing necessary documentation for onboarding new employees.
- Assist with preparing documentation for regulatory compliance, including financial and tax reporting, and year-end payroll tax documents.
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, or other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role is required.
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related program is required.
- Working towards a CPA designation is preferred.
- Experience within a financial services environment is an asset.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software, Excel. (Pivot Tables/ V-Lookups)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Deep understanding of business operations and financial interconnectivity, with the ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and employee data with discretion.
- Must reside and be authorized to work in the USA.

Pay Range – $30.00-$33.00 USD per hour
The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
