Description:
knk Group, a leading provider of ERP and CRM solutions for the media and publishing industry, is seeking a Remote Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their North American team. This role requires a highly organized individual who is comfortable working independently and managing financial tasks remotely. You will work closely with the finance team and Project Managers to ensure accurate bookkeeping, billing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable:
- Accurately assign transactions in compliance with accounting principles and legal requirements.
- Prepare and send customer invoices in coordination with Project Managers.
- Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and manage billable services, licenses, and products.
- Handle intercompany invoices within the knk Group.
- Identify and address any write-offs during billing.
- Maintain customer data in the billing system and continuously improve billing processes.
- Manage license renewals, orders, and cancellations.
2. Accounts Payable:
- Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring all expenses are verified.
- Monitor due accounts payable and follow up accordingly.
- Record transactions in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
3. General Accounting Duties:
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Prepare financial month-end reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain tax records and assist with state filing preparations.
- Support the migration from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Assist the finance team with special projects as needed.
