Description:
RxBenefits, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Support Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for assisting with various billing operations and supporting the Accounting department through administrative and technical tasks.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Research and resolve routine billing questions and discrepancies.
- Process customer auto-draft payments and apply customer credits.
- Manage customer account maintenance through our JIRA ticketing system, including:
- Invoice distribution updates across multiple internal systems.
- My RxBenefits Plan access requests.
- Vendor forms for clients.
- 5500 requests.
- Assist with new client setup and billing packet processes.
- Enter transaction fees into the billing system.
- Take ownership of billing for specialty products and adhoc requests.
- Support billing specialists with formatting data, reconciliations, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform other billing administrative duties as required by management.
- Participate in cross-training within the Accounting department as needed.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Entry level.
- High School diploma required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality when handling PHI (Protected Health Information).
- Highly collaborative team player.
- Strong math aptitude and accuracy with numbers.
- Self-motivated and takes initiative.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Some accounting or office experience.
- Pharmacy benefits industry experience.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range: $40,260 – $47,300, final offer based on experience and qualifications.
