We are looking for a Billing & Supplier Statement Analyst to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity within our Accounts Payable function. This role oversees day-to-day supplier statement operations, focusing on payment accuracy, contract compliance, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving billing processes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly supplier statement audits for new suppliers and markets, emphasizing new rentals and initial mail-order product deliveries
- Perform pre-billing reviews and data quality audits before month-end close
- Receive, track, analyze, and process supplier billing adjustments to ensure timely resolution and accurate financial reporting
- Compare patient billed charges with supplier statement line items and perform contractual, payer, and compliance reviews
- Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies, escalating systemic issues as needed
- Support special billing initiatives and audits with timely and accurate deliverables
- Develop, maintain, and improve recurring and ad hoc reporting for leadership insights and process optimization
- Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding supplier billing inquiries and discrepancies
- Partner with Supplier Operations to maintain accurate supplier billing, payment, and contract data
- Assist in complex billing and supplier finance projects, demonstrating initiative and ownership
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, training, and continuing education to stay current on workflows, payer rules, and regulations
- Support resolution of billing issues affecting supplier satisfaction, payment timelines, or financial accuracy
- Maintain supplier onboarding documentation and ensure billing and payment details are up to date
- Apply HCPCS coding knowledge to validate billing accuracy and ensure regulatory compliance
- Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data, generate reports, and identify process improvements
- Apply analytical judgment to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Perform additional duties to support Finance and Supplier Operations teams
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry; DME billing or operations experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with ability to learn new systems quickly

Compensation:
