Description:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the billing process for legal services, ensuring accurate invoicing, compliance with client requirements, and timely submission. This position requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and familiarity with legal billing practices and e-billing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit invoices for legal services according to client billing guidelines
- Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected invoices, and client inquiries
- Utilize e-billing platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, and LegaX to submit and track invoices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external client requirements
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience in legal or professional services billing
- Strong knowledge of legal billing software and e-billing platforms
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with client e-billing platforms and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of legal terminology, ABA billing codes, and LEDES formats
