ePlus Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately billing customers for products or services after they have been shipped or performed. This position ensures timely invoicing, accuracy, and compliance with customer and company standards, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive products into the inventory accounting system and track items for billing.
- Obtain vendor invoices and generate accurate customer invoices once products are shipped or services are completed.
- Ensure all orders shipped or invoiced within a month are processed timely within that month.
- Handle all customer-specific billing requirements and ensure attachments or modifications are addressed before sending invoices.
- Process invoices within monthly deadlines to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or High School Diploma.
- Minimum two years of billing or accounting experience in an office environment.
- Proficiency using ERP or accounting software.
- Experience with invoicing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position Specifics:
- Base salary range at start: $24.04 – $28.85 per hour; may vary based on market location, skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
