Description:
Planet Depos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join their team. This position is fully remote and plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate preparation, review, and delivery of client invoices for services provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing, accounting documentation, and customer service, combined with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send a large volume of invoices electronically to clients.
• Review database job notes thoroughly to confirm all services and products are billed accurately.
• Handle vendor payments and communicate effectively with Operations, A/R, and A/P departments.
• Prepare draft invoices for client approval and ensure accuracy in all billing documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Update and manage client, job, and vendor records with relevant billing details.
• Identify and resolve accounting or billing discrepancies promptly.
• Support the team with special projects and perform additional assigned duties.
Work Schedule:
• Training Shift: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday to Friday
• Permanent Shift (Post-Training): 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in accounting, finance, or economics is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of billing or customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong math proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings.
