Description:
Allied Benefit Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join its remote operations team in the United States. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in billing, invoicing, and collections who are comfortable working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate financial records.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing client billing activities, ensuring timely invoice processing, and maintaining accurate reporting across systems. The role also involves client communication, account setup and updates, and supporting month-end closing activities within a structured, remote-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies
• Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment status
• Maintain accurate records of all billing and collection activities
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy
• Set up new client accounts and update existing account information
• Conduct audits to ensure correct billing configurations
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking client activities
• Maintain Access databases for reporting and data tracking
• Perform additional related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in billing and collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
