ABOUT THE ROLE – BILLING REPRESENTATIVE
BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Billing Representative to join the ES US Defense Company Billings Organization. This full-time remote position supports a fast-paced environment responsible for processing over 20,000 invoices annually, totaling more than $4B. The ideal candidate can work independently, demonstrate teamwork skills, and occasionally travel to the Nashua, NH office when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage notifications from the Billings Inbox in Oracle ERP and distribute to the team.
- Perform administrative duties including uploading documents into the Contracts Billing Imaging (CBI) system.
- Retrieve shipping documents from databases, extract sales orders from iPortal, and enter invoicing information into Oracle ERP’s EDI.
- Print and prepare invoices for USPS and FedEx delivery.
- Assist Billings Management with ad-hoc tasks and provide support during high-volume invoicing periods.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with additional Math/Accounting courses, plus a minimum of 2 years office experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with no work experience required.
- Recent billing or invoicing experience is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently in a remote setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-time salary range: $41,024 – $65,639, based on market data, skills, experience, and internal equity.
