Description:
BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Billing Representative to join the ES US Defense Company Billings Organization. This full-time role offers the flexibility to work 100% remotely, though occasional travel to the Nashua, NH office may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage notifications from Oracle ERP and department communications, distributing them to the Billings team.
- Perform administrative tasks including uploading documents into the Contracts Billing Imaging (CBI) system.
- Retrieve shipping documents from databases, access sales orders from iPortal, and enter invoicing details into EDI within Oracle ERP.
- Print and send invoices via USPS and FedEx as needed.
- Assist Billings Management with ad-hoc requests and high-volume invoicing periods.
- Support team projects to ensure timely and accurate billing operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- High School education or equivalent with additional Math and Accounting courses and minimum 2 years of office experience, or Bachelor’s degree with no professional experience.
- Recent billing or invoicing experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as a team member.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
