Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily billing processes for assigned business line(s) to ensure billing goals are met.
  • Coordinate schedules, processes, and procedures for timely billing of firm services.
  • Oversee team task management, monitor performance, and drive accountability toward KPIs.
  • Meet with team members to ensure compliance with standard billing practices, resolve complex billing issues, and educate primary billers and functional leads.
  • Analyze and communicate financial concepts related to billing and standardized reporting.
  • Investigate complex billing issues and process invoice adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Manager to maintain effective communication and workflow with primary billers, functional leads, and finance peers.
  • Supervise team members, driving skill development, ongoing performance management, and career coaching.
  • Monitor productivity and align metrics with business line and firm expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to learn, implement, and train others.
  • Experience working in a large, dynamic organization with ambiguity and change.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • 4-6 years of professional billing experience.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop teams while engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees, including senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience in professional services.
