Description:
Royal Classic is seeking an experienced Billing Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in construction billing, quantity surveying, contract administration, and commercial project management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing payment applications, managing project valuations, coordinating with project stakeholders, and maintaining accurate billing and financial records. Candidates with experience in civil, infrastructure, roads, buildings, or railway projects will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit interim and final payment applications.
• Verify quantity measurements, BOQs, valuations, and project billing documentation.
• Manage client and subcontractor billing while ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, and supporting documentation for additional works.
• Coordinate with project teams, quantity surveyors, consultants, and clients regarding measurements, payments, and certifications.
• Track invoices, payment certificates, outstanding balances, and maintain detailed billing records.
• Prepare commercial and billing reports for management while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Billing Engineer within the construction industry.
• Strong expertise in quantity surveying, project measurements, and commercial billing.
• Experience with BOQs, Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), Final Accounts, Variations, and Claims.
• UAE-based candidates are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction contracts, specifications, and payment procedures.
• MS Excel, construction documentation, and commercial reporting.
• Quantity analysis, cost control, project financial data, and billing management.
