Billing & Data Entry (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter bills of lading into Dayton Freight’s internal inquiry system.
• Learn and retain industry-specific billing terminology.
• Understand and apply National Motor Freight Classification guidelines.
• Communicate any paperwork discrepancies to Service Centers promptly.
• Perform audits and ensure proper documentation of all billing entries.
• Process Hazardous Materials bills accurately as assigned.
• Assist Service Centers with billing-related questions and concerns.
• Identify and communicate potential billing issues effectively.
• Review weekly error reports and ensure accuracy of corrections.

• Exceptional data entry skills with high accuracy.

• Availability to work late afternoons and evening shifts.
