Porch Group is currently seeking an experienced Billing and Revenue Manager to join its Warranty organization. This fully remote role is focused on strengthening billing operations, improving revenue recognition accuracy, and enhancing customer-level cash visibility. The selected professional will bridge business operations and accounting to ensure proper financial reporting, monitoring, and compliance across all transaction types.
What You Will Do:
• Review, evaluate, and improve system-based and offline billing transactions to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Partner closely with the accounting team to align revenue recognition with financial reporting standards
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
• Maintain and document billing and revenue collection processes, identifying and resolving operational gaps
• Develop detailed process maps covering payments, chargebacks, disputes, delinquencies, and declines
• Implement strategies to improve outstanding payment collections and reduce processing fees
• Manage customer-level billing issues while maintaining consistent policy-level billing accuracy
• Collaborate with merchant processors and support API integrations for real-time visibility and control
• Train, guide, and support the billing team to achieve departmental objectives
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-ups on overdue balances
• Support integrations with third-party billing and financial partners
• Communicate directly with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment concerns
• Prepare and present regular billing, revenue, and collection performance reports
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, to optimize billing-related campaigns
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal billing and collection regulations
What You Will Bring:
• 8–12 years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or finance
• Prior experience in warranty, insurance, or subscription-based business models is preferred
• Proven expertise in billing operations and revenue recognition principles
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience managing integrations between CRM, billing, and accounting platforms
• Solid data analysis and reporting skills
• Familiarity with ERP and billing systems (NetSuite experience preferred)
• Strong process improvement, compliance, and audit-readiness capabilities
• Warranty-related industry knowledge is an added advantage
