Description:
Vision Government Solutions, Inc. is a leading government technology company providing advanced software and services to the public sector. The organization is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Billing and Revenue Analyst to join its Accounting & Finance team.
This role plays a key part in managing the full billing and revenue lifecycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, compliant revenue recognition, and reliable financial reporting. The position reports directly to the Controller and is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices across subscription, appraisal, and implementation revenue streams
• Validate billing details against customer contracts
• Maintain recurring billing schedules and ensure timely billing cycles
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities
• Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules
• Perform monthly revenue account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Analyze ARR, MRR, churn, and contract modifications
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate billing processes
• Support financial system enhancements and reporting improvements
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams for accurate reporting
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal/external audits
• Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 2–4+ years of billing, revenue operations, or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of SaaS subscription and contract billing models
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment preferred
• Experience with ERP/CRM/billing systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
