Description:
Cars Commerce is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team. This position plays a key role in executing billing processes accurately and efficiently for all billable transactions, ensuring the integrity of client accounts and financial reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment and is committed to process improvement, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end billing process for all client transactions
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all billing activities
- Monitor client accounts and implement updates or changes as needed
- Collaborate proactively with internal and external teams to identify and resolve business issues
- Prepare ad hoc reports for clients, management, and auditors
- Perform data analysis and reconciliations
- Generate revenue and month-end SOX reporting
- Participate in process and workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions
- Work extra hours during billing close cycles or for ad hoc projects as required
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under deadlines
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify trends and inefficiencies
- Ability to work independently and resolve problems effectively
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive corporate information
- Dependable and team-oriented with the ability to navigate ambiguity

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $46,500 – $55,800 annually
