Description:
Inspiren is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Analyst to manage the full order-to-cash cycle and ensure smooth financial operations. This role is integral to implementing and optimizing two new finance systems, Tabs and NetSuite, and contributes directly to building a strong financial foundation for the company’s growth.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee customer contracts to ensure accurate invoicing and integration of billing data across financial systems
• Generate and issue invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up to ensure timely collection
• Collaborate with the sales team to confirm invoice accuracy and resolve disputes
• Process and post customer payments efficiently, reconciling against system reports and resolving discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles and internal policies
• Confirm the accuracy of revenue reports for financial statements and manage revenue entries in NetSuite
• Review and approve revenue recognition schedules generated by Tabs
• Analyze customer agreements to guarantee precise billing and address any discrepancies
• Lead implementation and customization of Tabs and NetSuite systems, performing regular audits to maintain data integrity
Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of experience managing the order-to-cash process
• 2+ years using financial software such as NetSuite
• 2+ years applying revenue recognition principles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams
