Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-focused, bilingual Spanish Data Annotation Specialist to support AI and machine-learning projects remotely. This entry-level, seasonal role involves accurately labeling images, text, and video to help build high-quality training datasets for cutting-edge models.
Start & Duration
- Start Date: September 15, 2025 (Orientation begins)
- Duration: Seasonal assignment through December 15, 2025, with possible extension.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately label and annotate diverse data types (images, text, video) to support ML/AI initiatives.
- Review social media content for appropriateness and categorize correctly.
- Work in a back-office, non-customer-facing capacity.
- Use and adapt to annotation platforms and related tools; demonstrate strong computer navigation skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months of computer or technical experience.
- Typing speed of 30 AWPM or higher.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with iOS/MacOS is a plus.
- Quiet, distraction-free home workspace.
- High-speed wired internet (minimum 10 Mbps up/down; no wireless/hotspots/satellite).
- Smartphone required.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Fully remote — maintain a professional, noise-free work environment.
- Hours of operation: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM CT, Monday–Sunday (including weekends & holidays).
- Flexible scheduling within the hours of operation — you choose a consistent schedule once selected.
- Expected availability: 30–40 hours per week (may vary with business needs).
Training Schedule:
- Day 1 (Orientation): 9/15
- Equipment setup/access: 9/17–9/19
- Classroom training starts: 9/22 (2-week training period)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay rate: $18.50 per hour (annualized $38,480).
