Hiring Bilingual Accountant (English + Arabic)
Overview
DayZee Private Limited, an expanding agri-livestock company based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a proactive Bilingual Accountant to join its finance team. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who can manage day-to-day accounting, ensure statutory compliance in the UAE, and communicate effectively in both English and Arabic.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and assist with month-end close.
- Handle UAE VAT filings, payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Support external and internal audits and ensure compliance with UAE laws and IFRS where applicable.
- Provide financial analysis, budgeting input and cost-control recommendations to management.
- Liaise with banks, suppliers and government authorities, communicating in both English and Arabic as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience; UAE experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS fundamentals and practical experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Odoo, SAP, etc.).
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong reporting, analytical capabilities and clear communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
