ABOUT THE ROLE
USP, a global scientific organization committed to advancing public health through rigorous quality standards, is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage U.S. health, welfare, and retirement plans. This includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 401(k), and wellness program activities. The role sits within the Global People Systems, Analytics, and Benefits Operations team, offering opportunities to contribute to global initiatives and HRIS system projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for USP benefits offerings
  • Resolve employee questions and manage benefits through third-party providers
  • Configure and maintain online benefits enrollment systems, ensuring data integrity
  • Plan and execute annual Open Enrollment and Benefits/Wellness Fairs
  • Facilitate Open Enrollment meetings and verify information submitted to vendors
  • Support wellness programs and initiatives to promote employee health and well-being
  • Generate reports, conduct audits, and reconcile benefits billing as needed
  • Manage FML, disability, and worker’s compensation programs in compliance with federal and state laws
  • Oversee enrollments, changes, and terminations, partnering with brokers for issue resolution
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and HRIS teams to ensure smooth administration of benefits
  • Assist with projects across UKG technology platforms supporting employees, contractors, and volunteers

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in U.S. benefits administration or relevant HR experience
  • Ability to work on a U.S. EST time zone schedule
  • Preferred: UKG Benefits Prime/PlanSource, consolidated billing implementation, Cognos BI, UKG Core experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This is an individual contributor role
