NOW HIRING — BAKERY CHEF (CROISSANT SPECIALIST)
Lazza, a young and design-forward bakery brand expanding across the UAE, is seeking a skilled Bakery Chef focused on croissant production. This hands-on role covers the full croissant workflow — from dough preparation and lamination to proofing and baking — and will also support our growing retail and catering operations with consistent, high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake premium croissants and other viennoiserie to brand standards, ensuring uniform quality and texture.
- Manage daily production targets to meet both retail demand and catering commitments.
- Oversee dough fermentation, lamination, scaling, shaping, and the final bake process with precision.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and storage procedures at all times.
- Collaborate on catering menu items and contribute creative pastry/dessert ideas.
- Assist in developing and refining recipes to maintain product consistency as volume scales.
Requirements:
- Proven background as a Pastry Chef or Baker with demonstrable expertise in laminated dough (croissants, viennoiserie).
- Strong technical knowledge of fermentation, lamination techniques, and baking science.
- Experience handling production for catering or bulk orders is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, speed, and the ability to deliver consistent results under pressure.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate to the UAE.
