Description:
ANT Engineering Consultants is currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Authority Coordinator to oversee and manage the complete submission and approval cycle for engineering and construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This position plays a crucial role in connecting internal design teams with government authorities to ensure all architectural and MEP documentation complies with local regulations and approval standards.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth communication channels between departments and regulatory bodies to ensure projects move forward without unnecessary delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the full submission lifecycle with key Abu Dhabi authorities such as ADM, ADDC, ADCD, ADSSC, and Estidama.
- Prepare and submit NOCs, building permit applications, and completion certificates using MePS and Abu Dhabi e-Services platforms.
- Work closely with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams to verify that drawings and documentation meet regulatory codes and guidelines.
- Monitor submission progress consistently and maintain organized tracking logs to avoid delays or compliance issues.
- Draft, review, and refine technical documents and official applications before submission to government entities.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience within the UAE, specifically handling authority submissions in Abu Dhabi.
- Practical working knowledge of MePS (Municipal Electronic Permitting System) and other relevant government portals.
- Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi construction regulations, including Estidama sustainability standards and ADDC/ADCD requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or a related administrative field.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic will be considered an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to female candidates who are currently on their own visa (family or spouse sponsorship).
