N R Doshi & Partners, a respected firm of Auditors, Business Consultants, and Tax Advisors, is seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) to join their Dubai office as an Audit Supervisor. This role requires a professional with solid experience in statutory audits, a strong grasp of IFRS, ISA, UAE VAT, CT regulations, and the ability to manage and guide a team while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
About the Role
The Audit Supervisor will oversee statutory audit engagements, ensuring all assignments comply with IFRS, ISA, and local regulatory standards. The position involves managing a team of auditors, reviewing their output, maintaining smooth communication with clients, and delivering accurate, high-quality audit deliverables within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead statutory audit engagements, especially those involving significant exposure to statutory audits.
- Apply thorough knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UAE laws throughout audit assignments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax (CT) and related regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and monitor the work of audit team members to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, serving as a primary contact during audits.
- Prepare, review, and finalize audit working papers, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation tools for planning, documentation, and reporting processes.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant – ICAI.
- 4–5 years of post-qualification Audit experience (minimum 4 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of audit standards, IFRS, and ISA.
- Experience with UAE VAT, CT, and relevant compliance regulations.
- Ability to manage teams and review junior staff work.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and professional audit software.
