Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dedicated Associate, Billing Analyst to join our remote team. This role focuses on preparing billing invoices for government contracts, performing accounts receivable collections and analysis, and reconciling financial data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with the Project Finance team and Contract Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate client invoices via PeopleSoft.
  • Review transactional business and ensure accuracy of contract billing.
  • Reconcile all data according to contract requirements.
  • Participate in special projects and committees as needed.
  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, assisting with billing inquiries.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets to track various billing functions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong prioritization and judgment skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independently manage non-routine tasks requiring judgment and initiative.
  • Strong government accounting background and experience with invoice processing.
  • Familiarity with Time & Material (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Progress Payments, or Cost-plus (CP) contracts.
  • Knowledge of Commercial/Government Contracts, Program Finance (PFA), DFAS, DCAA, FAR.
  • Experience with payment systems such as WAWF, ExoStar, IPP, MPO, ViaSat, or PLSC.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills; team player with flexibility.
