We’re Hiring | Assistant Resident Engineer – Electrical (OHL)
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer – Electrical (OHL) to join a project team based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on supporting on-site supervision activities and ensuring smooth execution of electrical overhead line (OHL) works in line with approved standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Resident Engineer by conducting routine site visits and detailed inspections
- Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and multiple technical disciplines on-site
- Participate in site-based technical and coordination meetings as required
- Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings, technical documents, and method statements
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure full compliance with contract conditions and approved drawings
- Witness site works, inspections, and testing activities to verify quality and safety standards
- Assist with final inspections, completion documentation, certification, and project handover
- Ensure that all site safety regulations and procedures are properly implemented and followed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the UAE
- Strong hands-on experience in Electrical OHL projects
- Prior exposure to projects with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA, or similar authorities will be considered an advantage
