Description:
Arabcal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant QHSE Engineer to join its growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality and HSE processes while contributing to inspection and calibration operations. The selected candidate will act as a key quality representative, ensuring compliance with standards and maintaining the trust of both internal teams and clients.

Please note that the initial training and probation period (3–6 months) will take place in the UAE, after which the role will transition to Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality and HSE management systems

• Manage and update the Quality Manual along with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Monitor calibration processes and ensure traceability to recognized standards

• Conduct internal audits and assist during external audit processes

• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for identified issues

• Review and approve calibration certificates and technical reports

• Handle CAPA processes and perform root cause analysis for quality issues

• Validate testing methods and monitor measurement uncertainty

• Coordinate proficiency testing programs and inter-laboratory comparisons

• Maintain employee training records and competency documentation

• Deliver QMS-related training sessions to staff

Skills & Technical Expertise:

• Supervise calibration activities to ensure operational efficiency

• Ensure equipment accuracy, readiness, and compliance

• Validate technical reports prior to submission

• Provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and clients

• Hands-on experience in pressure, temperature, electrical, and flow calibration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• At least 2 years of experience in QA/QC or calibration functions

• ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 Internal Auditor certification is preferred

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to work in a structured and compliance-driven environment

Preferred Candidates:

• Currently based in the UAE

• Available for immediate joining

• Willing to relocate to Jubail, Saudi Arabia after probation period
