Description:
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Procurement Engineer to join our team at PROEPCC FZC in Sharjah. The role involves supporting procurement activities, ensuring supplier quality, and maintaining smooth coordination with internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering and procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers for RFQs
- Issue RFQs, follow up on quotations, and prepare purchase orders (POs)
- Review vendor quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and recommend suppliers
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and quality teams to resolve procurement issues
- Support supplier evaluations and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Assist in improving procurement procedures and workflows
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards
- Prepare periodic procurement reports and presentations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement or engineering
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
