Description:
An automotive company in Sharjah is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support its finance operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting processes, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The successful candidate will assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, reconciliations, payroll support, and financial documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and record journal entries accurately.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
