Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Al Barsha Heights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work, is comfortable with daily closings, and can support the team across bookkeeping, reconciliations and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain ledgers and financial records, recording transactions and keeping accounts up to date.
  • Support daily, monthly and yearly closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform daily closing of accounts to ensure transactions are recorded and balanced each day.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, monitor collections and coordinate vendor payments.
  • Reconcile bank and cash accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Support audits and tax filings by compiling documentation and liaising with auditors as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • High attention to detail, strong numerical ability and accuracy.
  • Good communication and time-management skills, able to meet deadlines and work within a team.
