We are currently seeking a Assistant Accountant to join our finance department and support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for individuals with an accounting background who want to gain more hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial tasks.

About the Role
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for handling a variety of routine accounting duties such as reviewing expense reports, processing reimbursements, entering transactions into internal systems, and assisting with invoice reconciliation. This position plays a key role in helping the finance department maintain accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all financial activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Reconcile invoices and highlight any discrepancies
  • Prepare and maintain updated expense reports
  • Process reimbursement requests accurately and on time
  • Handle preparation of bank deposits
  • Enter financial transactions into company databases
  • Review spreadsheets to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical financial records
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients and business partners when required
  • Review and file payroll documentation
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits

Qualifications:

  • Preferred age between 25–35 years
  • 2–3 years of UAE experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping practices
  • Knowledge of finance regulations
  • Good numerical abilities with attention to detail
  • Practical experience with MS Excel and accounting software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
