About the Role
We’re expanding our Travel Operations support team and are looking for an ARC Specialist to own ARC reporting and airline ticketing accuracy for Rippling Travel. This is a detail-focused, high-impact role — you’ll handle reconciliations, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement processes that prevent recurring errors. You’ll partner closely with ticketing, operations, and accounting teams to improve controls and ensure ARC compliance.
What You Will Do
- Process and reconcile weekly ARC reports on time, following ARC standards and deadlines.
- Review and verify airline ticketing activity via Sabre GDS, including issued tickets, refunds, exchanges, voids, and commission calculations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ticketing discrepancies and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Analyze debit memos to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to reduce future occurrences.
- Produce clear documentation of findings and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain SOPs to address recurring issues and improve compliance and controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ticketing, operations, and accounting to close process gaps.
- Monitor and dispute invalid or incorrect debit memos with airlines promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of ARC activity and reporting
- Stay current on ARC rules, airline policies, and industry changes, and participate in related internal audits.
- Provide training and guidance on ARC best practices, Sabre usage, and reconciliation techniques to reduce error rates.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of hands-on ARC reporting experience at a travel agency or travel management company
- Proficiency with Sabre GDS is required.
- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing mechanics—exchanges, refunds, commissions, and related reconciliation.
- Familiarity with debit memos, airline reconciliation processes, and dispute workflows.
- ARC Specialist certification.
- Experience with TMC BackOffice is a plus.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Analytical mindset and advanced Excel or travel-accounting tool skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in remote or hybrid environments is beneficial.
