Role Overview
We are recruiting qualified Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers to cover a maternity leave starting January 2026. This is a fixed-term teaching position for educators who are already resident in the UAE and ready to step into the classroom to maintain learning continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and lesson plans.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and create a supportive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson materials, assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and school leadership about student progress and classroom needs.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and reporting requirements.
Requirements (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree plus a recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience (experience with UAE or British curriculum is preferred).
- Strong classroom management, lesson planning and communication skills.
- Must hold a valid UAE residence visa — visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
