Description:
Oracle is hiring an experienced Applications Developer to work on top of the NetSuite platform and support Oracle’s internal NetSuite environment. This role is part of a large global engineering team and is ideal for professionals who are highly skilled in programming, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and are comfortable collaborating remotely across multiple regions.

As an Applications Developer, you will contribute to maintaining, enhancing, and building new functionality within the NetSuite platform while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. You will work on projects of varying complexity and play a key role in designing, implementing, and reviewing technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance software solutions on the NetSuite platform
• Troubleshoot development issues and deliver solutions within defined timelines
• Contribute to the design and implementation of custom scripts, structures, saved searches, and reports
• Analyze complex technical problems using multiple data sources and evaluation methods
• Collaborate with a global, distributed development team to deliver features on schedule
• Provide technical guidance and input to Product Managers
• Conduct peer reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Perform high-level design based on external specifications
• Implement changes to existing software architecture and resolve complex bugs
• Build and execute unit tests and review integration and regression test plans
• Coordinate with QA and engineering teams to maintain product quality across releases

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on programming or technical implementation experience
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and on-time delivery practices
• Experience with general programming languages, design patterns, and web-based applications
• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or NetSuite SuiteScript is preferred
• Familiarity with metadata-driven architectures or role-based access control is a plus
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and justify implementation approaches
• Excellent English communication skills and experience working with remote teams
