Description:

A company in Riyadh is seeking an Application Support professional to join its technology team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who have knowledge of application development, troubleshooting, and technical support.

The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, basic database knowledge, and the ability to investigate application issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions with different technical teams. The position requires flexibility to work in a 24/7 support environment and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application support and troubleshoot technical issues reported by users.

• Investigate application incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and coordinate issue resolution.

• Monitor applications, analyze system logs, and identify potential problems.

• Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Support incident management processes and maintain proper documentation.

• Assist with application performance monitoring and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience in Application Development or Application Support.

• Experience in L2 Application Support will be considered an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and prepare technical documentation.

• Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Basic database concepts, SQL query analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Log analysis and application monitoring.

• Ticketing systems, incident management, and ITIL practices.
