Description:
Lumenalta is seeking skilled and innovative AI Engineers to join our high-growth fintech projects focused on back-office workflow automation. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to design and deploy production-grade AI systems for community banks, mortgage, and insurance institutions, working closely with an experienced executive team to build flexible, modern architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and deploy AI models into production environments
• Develop and maintain backend Python services powering intelligent automation workflows
• Implement enterprise-scale data pipelines to ingest and process financial and regulatory documents with automated data quality checks
• Train and optimize models for banking rules, compliance standards, and regulatory datasets
• Build intelligent routing systems, including auto-approval for simple cases and escalation to humans for complex cases
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape architecture, delivery models, and technology stack decisions
• Ensure compliance-first design, integrating regulatory considerations into every feature
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with production-level deployment
• Strong backend Python skills and expertise with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
• Familiarity with modern data pipeline tools (Airflow, Spark, Kafka) and workflow orchestration frameworks (n8n, LangGraph)
• Experience with enterprise applications such as chatbots, workflow automation, RAG pipelines, or intelligent document processing
• Understanding of regulated industries like financial services or insurance, ensuring compliance-aligned models
• Ability to collaborate in lean, high-performing teams and influence technical direction
• Adaptable to startup-like environments with evolving tech stacks
