Position Overview
As an Admissions Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and returning clients, families, and referral sources seeking treatment with Accanto Health. Your role is to remove barriers, manage objections, and guide people through the admissions process with curiosity, empathy, and tenacity—ensuring timely access to care and an excellent experience.

How Admissions Specialists Empower Recovery
You will use a relational, solution-focused approach to convert interest into intake while maintaining compassion and urgency. Accurate documentation and efficient scheduling are key so clients can focus on recovery while you coordinate the administrative steps.

You will serve clients daily in a multitude of ways:

  • Engage new prospects with warmth while performing in a fast-paced, achievement-oriented environment.
  • Sustain conversion ratesby tailoring messaging to the prospect’s stage and persona.
  • Drive registration volumeusing motivational techniques that help clients take the next step.
  • Overcome objections with a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Balance growth goals with compassion, consistently interacting with professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicate clearlywith prospective clients, families, and referral sources via calls, voicemail, email, and fax.
  • Explain the admissions process and position Accanto Health as a leading solution for eating disorder care.
  • Maintain strong relationshipswith key referring providers and respond with urgency to referrals.
  • Share community resources when Accanto cannot meet a caller’s immediate needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreein psychology, social work, or related mental health field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
  • 1–3 years in healthcare sales or behavioral healthcare call center experience is desired.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and goal-oriented sales/engagement skills.
