Description:
World Learning is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Admissions Officer to join the School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad division. This fully remote position plays a vital role in supporting undergraduate enrollment for programs in Europe. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Study Abroad Admissions, the Admissions Officer will manage the admissions process from inquiry to departure, ensuring students receive exceptional guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide prospective students through the application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Provide proactive communication and assistance from the initial inquiry through program departure, including visa and travel preparation.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of SIT’s academic programs to provide accurate and personalized advising.
  • Build and maintain relationships with faculty, students, and local program staff.
  • Analyze and utilize student inquiry data to enhance enrollment strategies and meet recruitment goals.
  • Review and evaluate student applications to determine eligibility and admission decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with admissions policies and institutional standards.
  • Maintain accurate communication logs and applicant tracking within CRM systems.
  • Support alumni mentorship initiatives and coordinate pre-departure orientations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and enrollment teams to align admissions with strategic outreach goals.
  • Participate in organization-wide initiatives and events as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous study, travel, or living experience abroad.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, data analysis, and student advising.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and video communication tools.
  • Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends and travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with European academic programs or visa processes.
  • Prior background in admissions, academic counseling, or international education.
