Position Overview
The Chargeback Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the Risk Management team by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of chargebacks. This remote position is responsible for reviewing and submitting documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and upholding compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong communication with merchants, partners, and internal teams. This role directly contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the chargeback lifecycle and helps mitigate financial risk to the organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Chargeback Notices: Email daily incoming chargeback notices to merchants, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of chargeback documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with industry standards.
- Submission to Card Brands: Submit chargeback documentation from Merchant Clients to the card brand associations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and requirements.
- Dispute Communication: Act as a point of contact for merchants, sales partners, and employees regarding disputes, providing clear and professional communication to resolve issues.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the Risk Management team and overall company goals.

- Professionalism: Ability to work patiently, professionally, and assertively, maintaining a calm disposition in difficult situations, including those with heavy stress and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to Learn: Demonstrate a willingness to learn other risk management functions to support the team effectively.
- Responsibility and Detail Orientation: Highly responsible and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Multi-tasking and Prioritization: Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing time-sensitive responsibilities.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, good judgment, and decision-making skills to navigate complex issues.
