Description:
Plainfield Counseling Center is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Remote Administrative Assistant to support its mental health practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, providing excellent client service, and managing administrative tasks in a healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients while supporting therapists through scheduling, communication, documentation, and daily administrative coordination. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for current and prospective clients through phone and email communication.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments for multiple therapists.
• Guide new clients through intake procedures and assist with required documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and support basic billing and co-payment processing.
• Maintain confidential client records with accuracy and professionalism.
• Coordinate communication between clients and clinical staff.
• Monitor calendars and improve scheduling efficiency.
• Assist with general administrative projects and daily office operations.
Requirements:
