We’re Hiring – Accounts Receivable Specialist (FuzeRx)
Fuze Health is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team and support the FuzeRx organization. This role plays a key part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage outstanding A/R balances, ensuring accurate and timely payment collections
- Account Review & Discrepancy Resolution: Audit patient and insurance accounts for accuracy and resolve any billing or payment issues
- Cash Posting & Adjustments: Post receipts, adjustments, and refunds following accounting standards
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Billing, Customer Experience, and Insurance Support teams to address escalated A/R concerns
- Reporting & Escalation: Prepare aging reports, track KPIs, and escalate delinquent accounts when necessary
- Month-End Close Support: Assist in month-end close activities related to revenue and A/R reconciliation
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare finance; pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong understanding of A/R processes, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems; Workday or NetSuite experience a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and patients
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), insurance claims, and patient billing workflows
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare financial regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, reconciliations)
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities for resolving account discrepancies
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Customer service mindset for handling patient or client billing inquiries
