Description:
Airspace, a tech-enabled freight forwarder, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process. This role involves preparing invoices, tracking payments, maintaining accurate customer records, and assisting with collections, while ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal teams to uphold the company’s financial health.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices according to customer contracts and shipment details.
• Monitor account activity and ensure all payments are received and recorded correctly.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile customer accounts and address billing issues promptly.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer account inquiries, delivering excellent service.
• Review aging reports and prioritize overdue accounts; update the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date customer account information and transaction records.
• Ensure proper entry of payments, adjustments, and credits in the system.
• Assist in preparing reports on accounts receivable performance and payment trends.
• Coordinate with other departments, including Revenue, Operations, and Yield Management, to resolve billing issues and ensure timely invoicing.

Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of AR experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
